2001 Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse

Improvements made in recent years include upgrades of living amenities, mechanical systems, lighting, HVAC systems and general good maintenance makes this yacht ready for new owners to move on and begin enjoying it.

From aft you will step onto a 4’ wide Hydraulic Lift Swim platform that not only makes boarding easy, but also provides your own private beach for getting into and out of the water effortless. The open cockpit is covered and includes an optional canvas awning for shade that makes it the perfect spot while cruising, at anchor, or just lounging at the dock. It also has recently installed LED lighting.

The wide sliding doors (with screen and floor length curtains) lead you into a bright spacious saloon with amazing headroom, and is appointed with all the comforts of home. Starboard is a light beige Ultraleather sofa equipped with two built-in recliners; a matching leather sleep sofa is port-side with a retractable remote lift 42” Smart TV behind. The main decks, including the salon, galley and sky lounge have been upgraded with recently installed solid waterproof vinyl cherry plank flooring that matches the cherry joinery and provides ease of maintenance.

Forward is a gourmet galley with plenty of storage. All cupboards have had slide out racks installed, making it easy to access the full depth of each cupboard. A corner cupboard includes a Lazy Susan. Sub-Zero fridge and freezer units are under counter. There is a new above counter Convection/Microwave and a below counter Ninja 10 in 1 Oven with the ability to bake, grill, air fry, and more. The flat- top stove is electric with 3 burners. Double sinks make dishwashing and rinsing easy.

Up a couple of stairs and forward the open space continues into the pilothouse with a panoramic view. To port is another spacious L-shaped seating area and to starboard is a sliding door (with screen) for a refreshing breeze and easy access to the foredeck. The fully equipped lower helm with Ultraleather six-way electrically adjustable captain’s seat for comfortable long range cruising. From here, several steps lead up to the Flybridge helm station. On this upper deck, is a lounge area that easily accommodates eight or nine adults. It’s shaded by a canvas and isinglass full enclosure, equipped with screens for bug-free comfort. To one side is a wet bar and an ice-maker. A Marquipt davit is designed to blend in with the lines of the back of the seating area, to be unobtrusive until it’s needed to service the 10 foot tender stored on the roof of the lower cockpit.

To starboard in the Skylounge, five stairs lead down to three cabins and two heads belowdecks.

The luxurious full-width Master Cabin is enclosed in well maintained cherry joinery and has a walk around Queen size berth with three storage drawers below and more storage under the mattress. There are nightstands with shelving below on each side. Two portlights with blinds brighten the cabin. Plenty of clothing storage includes a 5 drawer armoire, two hanging closests and a closet of with deep shelving along with several storage draws throughout the cabin. Behind double doors is a washer and new dryer and Smart TV. This cabin had a new AC unit with reverse cycle heating installed in 2022. Up one step to port there is a vanity sink with side and under sink cupboards. The doors on each side of the vanity lead to the master head equipped with bidet to the left and a large step down shower/tub to the right.

Forward is the VIP stateroom with a Queen size raised berth that includes two storage drawers below and additional under mattress storage. The VIP stateroom has 2 hanging closets. The 4 screened portlights with curtains and a screened sky light keep the cabin light and airy. Aft is another smart TV. In 2023 a new remote controlled AC unit with reverse cycle heating was installed. Accessible from this stateroom is a full head that also has access from the stairs that allows it to double as a Day-head. This head has a vanity, under sink storage, medicine cabinet, head with bidet and a glass door enclosed shower stall.

The mid-ship cabin is to port and has upper and lower bunks and is equipped with optional storage enclosure that can convert the lower bunk into additional storage.

Some of the recent improvements include: new Engine room blower units, newer bow-thruster battery bank, new hot water heater, new head pump systems, conversion of all house lighting to energy saving LED fixtures, and more.
